Partial Payment Plan—Credit Agreement

The Partial Payment Plan (Credit Agreement) is a personal loan arrangement between the student and UW-Waukesha. The promissory agreement is a legal, binding contract that allows the student to extend payment of tuition with the promise to pay the tuition during the specified time period during the semester. Proof of birth is required; a driver’s license, birth certificate or other legal document showing birth date is needed. If a student is under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must co-sign the document. If a student is 18 years or older, the student must sign the contract; the parent may not sign for the student. An enrollment fee of $25.00 is added to the student’s account.

The agreement will be effective for continuing academic semesters without the need to sign a new contract as long as the student enrolls at any UW Colleges campus and pays the required down payment.

The payment plan is not available for the summer session or for the winter term.

The first payment of tuition is due by the tenth day of the semester.

  2. Complete the agreement form (review all 4 pages); duplicate a copy for yourself.

  4. ***If you have completed the Credit Agreement form in a previous semester, you do not need to complete that form again.
  5. ***You do need to pay at least $200 on your account before the payment plan will be activated; pay by the tenth day of the semester to prevent a late payment charge.
  6. By the end of the sixth week of the semester, pay 50% of the balance on your account (Fall 2012 - Oct. 15, 2012; Spring 2013 - March 7, 2013).
