Penalties
Penalties for Late Payment/Returned Checks
It is critical to pay your tuition by the final due date.
Please refer to Tuition and Fee
Due Dates
for the specific semester payment calendar.
Defaulting by paying only the Advance Tuition Deposit:
You will be charged a late payment fee of $100.00.
You remain responsible for all your tuition.
Any student whose account goes into default will be responsible for all collections costs associated with the collection of the past due amount.
Failing to pay in full by due date:
You will be assessed a $100.00 late payment charge and lose you advance tuition deposit.
You remain responsible for all your tuition.
Any student whose account goes into default will be responsible for all collections costs associated with the collection of the past due amount.
Returned checks
A $20.00 return check fee plus any bank fees are assessed when a check is not paid by the bank on which it is drawn, for reasons such as non-sufficient funds, stop payment, etc.
Under certain circumstances, an additional administrative charge might assessed.
An academic hold is placed on your account to prevent registering for future semesters or requesting transcripts.
The replacement payment must be made by cash, cashier's check, or money order-not another personal check.
