Special Students

Admissions Information

Students are considered “special" students if they are community members taking courses for self-enrichment, they are enrolled at another college or university and are taking course(s) at UW-Waukesha, or they have been out of college for some time and want to start back. Special students are not interested in earning a degree from UW-Waukesha or they already have a college degree.

Special students who wish to become degree-seeking students must submit the UW System Application for Undergraduate Admission, the application fee and official education records after completing six credits. This does not apply to second degree-seeking students. Special Students are not eligible for financial aid or federal veteran’s benefits.
