Transfer Students

Admissions Information

Transfer students are students who have attended another college or university after graduating from high school and before applying to UW-Waukesha.

Admission Requirements:

  • Applicants who have a 2.0 or higher semester and cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) will be admitted in good standing.
  • Applicants admitted with less than a 2.0 grade point average are subject to UW Colleges’ probation & suspension policy.

NOTE: Students suspended from another university will not be admitted to UW-Waukesha until the period of suspension elapses.

Here’s How to Apply:

  1. Submit the University of Wisconsin Online Admission Application available at Admission Application
  2. Submit a $44 application fee online with a credit card or by check (made payable to UW-Waukesha) to:

    Waukesha, WI 53188
  3. Submit an official high school transcript and official transcripts from all prior colleges attended.
  4. ACT or SAT scores are required of all students who are under the age of 21 by the first day of classes.
  5. All admission/registration are subject to enrollment limits.

Priority application dates:

  • Fall admission ………. April 1
  • Spring admission ……December 1
