Fantasy Football League Dynasty Rules
Positions
Each fantasy team will consists of 14 players from five Offensive
positions and includes one Defense.
The offensive positions are as follows (minimum-maximum number
of players):
1 3 Quarterbacks (QB)
1 5 Running Backs (RB)
1 5 Wide Receivers (WR)
1 3 Tight Ends (TE)
1 2 Team Kickers (K)
1 2 The Defensives/Special Teams unit (D)
NOTE: K & D are selected from an individual NFL team.
Salary Cap
Each team is allotted a salary cap of $100 that you will need to stay
within.
Auction Draft
Owners, in a selected order, will nominate players for drafting by
stating the player and the opening bid. We then go clockwise
around the room asking for a new bid or a pass. Owners who pass are
not allowed to bid on the player again. High bid is awarded the player
at the final bid amount. The next owner will then bid on a new player
(unless they already have 14 players on their team) until all owner
have full rosters.
Injuries/Injured Reserve
During the season you are allowed to have two players on injured
reserve that do not count against your 14 players (although half
of their salary, rounded up, will still count against your salary
cap). These people must actually be injured (no freeloading). When
you place a person on IR, you may pickup a replacement player from
the pool of available players. To activate the player off IR, you
will need to drop a player to make room for them to return (or place
someone else on IR in their place).
NOTE: a player on injured reserve MUST be activated after they
score points unless they are still listed as injured on the ESPN
web site.
Transactions
There will be hundreds of available free agents each week. These
unsigned players are available to be added to your team whenever
you wish. However, if you have filled all 14 available slots on
your roster, you must drop players before you may add new ones or
move an injured player to IR.
Trades
You can make trades with any other team owner, but some trade requests
may be turned down. For instance, if a team tried to trade Brett
Favre for Ty Detmer right before the playoffs, it is unlikely that
this trade would be allowed. Trades must be approved by both owners
through the commissioner and both teams must remain under the salary
keep after the trade.
Leaving salary behind in trades is acceptable (i.e. Team A trades
$13 James Stewart to Team B for $10 Drew Bledsoe but agrees to pay
$4 of Stewart's salary) although the player will maintain their
original salary value for the purposes of keepers. Trades including
contingencies for following weeks are not allowed.
Week 12 is the trading deadline. No trades made be made from week 13 through the playoffs; off-season trading will resume when the playoffs are over.
Free Agents (Holding Period and Bidding)
From the time starters are due until Wednesday at Noon we enter
a period Free Agent holding period. During this time all roster
moves and requests and put on hold as owners submit their bids for
free agents. All bids should include a listing of moves that will
be done to allow the pickup of the desired free agent.
Simple conditional bids are allowed ("I want to cut Player
X at $3 and sign a kicker for $2 - my choices are Kicker Y or Z").
Complex bids are not ("I want to bid $1 more than the Cannon
Fodder on Player X and cut Player Y"). Please try to make your
bids as clear as possible to avoid any confusion. Unclear bids will
be handled at the Commissioners discretion and all decisions will
be final.
At Noon on Wednesday the requests will be processed. Players will
be awarded to the highest bidder. Tie bids are determined by Overall Winning Percentage, Head-Head Record, Total Points Scored,
Divisional Winning Percentage, Reverse Order of Opponent Total Points Scored, Power Rank.
Free Agents (Released players)
Players that have been released as part of a free agent pickup
will be available at their current salary for the remainder of the
week on a "first come - first served" basis. If no one
selects a dropped player at their current salary, owners may then
bid on the player as a free agent during the next week's free agent
holding period.
Keepers
One week prior to the draft, each owner will submit a list of players
that they will be keeping from the previous year. Each player being
kept will be given a $5 raise (minimum of $10). These players will
automatically remain with their current team at their new value.
Playoffs
Once the playoff games begins there will be no changes allowed
to your team (drop/pickup players, IR) although you can
still change your starters throughout the playoffs. Players on IR
must be removed before the playoffs or they will automatically be
cut. Remember to pick some backups in case your starters get injured.
Two division champions and four wild card teams go to the playoffs
(the next two teams with the best records in their division). The
division champs get a BYE in the first round of the playoffs. The
remaining teams in each division (or the loser's brackets) get a
chance to play for the Stupor Bowl.
If two or more teams have identical win/loss records, the tiebreaker
is Win/Loss records in head-to-head games, Division Record, then
Total Points (season). In a three-way tie, the tiebreakers are Division
Record, Total Points, and Coin Toss. Playoff ties will be determined
by Bench Scoring, followed by Home Field Advantage.

The regular season schedule is listed on the web page.
Playoff schedules will be determined as described above.
Scoring
Each week your starters points will be added and you will compete
head-head against another opponent in the league. The person with
most points is awarded the victory. In the event of a tie, bench
scoring will determine the winner. If the bench scoring is the same,
then the tie will stand. Complete list of scoring rules by position are published on the
web page.
Note: Sometimes the NFL will go back and change rulings on plays later in the week or on the following week. We will not go back and make these changes, even if they affect the outcome of that week's game. The scores listed on Tuesday morning are the final scores except in the case of data entry errors by the commisioner.
Starting Lineups
You will be able to make changes to your starting lineup until
11:59pm Saturday. After this time, you will not be allowed to make
changes to your active lineup. If you do not contact the commissioner,
your starting lineup from the previous week will be used. Changes
in the above time will be emailed to all team owners.
Each week, you will decide which eight players you would like to
activate for the upcoming game.
Below are the required starters:
1 QB 1 Kicker 1 Def/ST 1 RB 1 WR
1 TE plus 2 more skill positions (RB/WR/TE)
