Winterim 2009 Credit Classes

Continuing Education will be offering Winterim classes for credit on campus January 5 – 23, 2009.

To apply for college-credit Winterim classes, please download and complete the application form found here and register online for your class here. You can make payment online with MasterCard or Visa. By enrolling through CE, your information will be entered so that you will receive college credit.

To receive the early bird discount rate your application along with $125 is due by Friday, November 7, 2008.
$100 of this nonrefundable fee will be applied to your tuition.

ECO 204: Economics—Micro (3 credits)
ENG 370: A Theme in English and/or American Literature (3 credits)
GEO 130: Human Impact on the Environment (3 credits)
HIS 101: History of the United States: From the Era of the Columbian Exchange to the Civil War (3 credits)
PHY 110: Physics for the Health Sciences (3 credits)
COM 103: Introduction to Public Speaking (3 credits)

Winterim Class Held in New Orleans:

ANT 291: Katrina and Its Aftermath: Multicultural Learning Through Study and Service (3 credits)

Certificate Programs


Instructors Wanted in Continuing Education - we're growing!

Instructors interested in teaching for CE Department (part-time evenings/weekends) should submit Instructor Bio/Proposal Form by mail, fax or email. We are currently looking for Instructors to teach Consumer Classes, Second Career Workshops, Interpersonal/Business Skills, Food Demonstrations, Waukesha County History, Ecology, Parenting, Spiritual Enlightenment, Art and Wellness classes.  Our Fall semester runs September – December 2009 and proposals are due June 1, 2009 .


Confirmations

After a minimum number of students have registered for a class, a confirmation notice and classroom map will be mailed to you prior to the start of class. If you register by credit card, your card will be charged at the time the class is confirmed.


Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refunds for classes are not available once class begins. Cancellation requests received in writing (email or letter) prior to class start date will be issued a voucher. The voucher may be used toward a future class within one year. Sorry, we cannot honor cancellations for trips or travel.


What is a CEU?

Continuing Education Units, where indicated, may be awarded upon completion of a class. Ten class hours are equivalent to 1 CEU. If you would like CEU’s, request them at time of registration.
