            The Mathematics Education of Elementary Teachers Conference is held annually to bring together mathematics faculty from across Wisconsin to explore the question:  How can we prepare elementary school teachers to teach for their students’ future rather than our past?  The purpose is to examine collectively how and what we are teaching our future teachers, and to investigate appropriate responses to the challenges of mathematics education reform.
