WAUKESHA – Two members of the state champion University of Wisconsin-Waukesha women’s basketball team and one of the Cougar men were named to the Wisconsin Junior College Athletic Association (WJCAA) All-State Basketball teams. All three also were voted All-Conference first team in the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference (WCC). Students recognized by both WJCAA and WCC are: Alyssa Krueger, New Berlin, Michelle Reynolds, Waterford, and Joshua Hankins, Milwaukee.
Three additional players were honored by the WCC for their achievements as well. Kelly Maltby, a freshman from Hartland, was selected for All-Conference second team, and Nicki Carroll, a freshman from Greenfield, received WCC honorable mention. Sophomore Marlon Pickens, Milwaukee, was named to the men’s WCC All-Conference second team.
