Waukesha -- The Friends & Alumni of UWW, Inc., an organized group of benefactors to the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha, has approved 2000-2001 board members.
Officers for 2000-2001 are: Mary Ann Waldenmeyer, Waukesha, president; Mary Winze, New Berlin, vice president; Nickie Neipert, Waukesha, secretary; and Jeri Sass, Waukesha, treasurer.
Members of the board are elected for three-year terms. Elected this year to new three-year terms are: Carmen Bucher, Nickie Neipert, and Debbie Tweed, all of Waukesha.
With two years of their terms remaining are board members: Bonnie Birk, Mary Winze, and Michelle Moran, all of Waukesha, and Joy Switala, Milwaukee.
Serving terms that will expire in 2001 are: Kurt Barnhart and Russell Launder, Oconomowoc; Jeri Sass, Robert Schuelke, and Mary Ann Waldenmeyer, Waukesha; and student Courtney Peckham, Nashotah.
Past presidents who remain active with the organization include Thomas Mihal, Waukesha; Harold Nedset, Brookfield; and David Elmer, Menomonee Falls.
By charter, these benefactors work to promote the welfare of the UW-Waukesha and encourage attendance at programs and events. They also administer scholarship funds for students at the campus. |
