WAUKESHA As final exam time nears, the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha Student Life and Interest Committee once again has planned a De-Stress Fest to help students and faculty manage stress levels during the typically difficult period. On Tuesday, April 29, both campus and off-campus groups will provide information and demonstrations designed to help relieve stress. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Commons, located on campus at 1500 N. University Dr. It is free and open to the public.
There will be yoga and Pilates demonstrations, massage therapists, chiropractors, fitness center representatives, and acupuncturists. Also staffing booths will be: The American Red Cross, Planned Parenthood, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Shaklee Products, Womens Center, Mental Health Association, Medical Associates, UW-Waukesha Mentors, UW-Waukesha Yoga Club, the campus Bookstore, the Wellness Alliance, and the Institute of Cellular Health. |
