WAUKESHA – Again this year, the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha will add a summer production to its usual academic year schedule. Director Jeff Smerz will cast four men and two women for James Sherman’s Jewish comedy, Beau Jest. Performances will be August 1, 2, 8, and 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, located in the Fine Arts Center on campus at 1500 N. University Dr., Waukesha.
Smerz will hold auditions in the theater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, June 20 and 21. Actors seeking parts may come with a prepared monologue or do a cold reading from a provided script.
