WAUKESHA – A cadre of six strong golfers has returned to anchor this year’s University of Wisconsin-Waukesha Cougar golf team. They won the UW-Waukesha Invitational on September 16 at Ironwood Golf Course in Merton, WI, and will play in the state meet at Mascoutin Golf Course, Berlin, WI, October 12-13. Coached by Neal Nelson, UW-Waukesha athletic director and associate professor of physical education, the players are:

- Austin Green, Wales
- Brian Markle, Waterford
- Jon Poletti, Delafield
- Joshua Van Beck, Hartland
Competing for individual honors, since there is no women’s team, is Holly Stark, Hartland. |
