WAUKESHA –The University of Wisconsin-Waukesha Symphonic Band and Jazz Ensemble will be joined by the Hand Bell Choir in presenting the annual fall concert. It is set for Friday, November 19, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, located in the Fine Arts Center on campus at 1500 N. University Dr., Waukesha. Admission is free, and the public is invited.
Craig Hurst, associate professor of music, continues as director of the band and jazz ensemble, and Nancy Van Brunt will lead the hand bell choir.
The Jazz Ensemble, will open the program, followed by the Bell Choir. The Symphonic Band will take the stage after an intermission, playing works by Vaughn Williams, David Holsinger, John Moss, and Larry Daehn and closing with a march.
