"When I first considered enrolling at Waukesha back in 2005 it's main appeal was the affordable cost of tuition and the campus' close proximity to my home. As I look back on my two years as a UW-Waukesha student and campus employee, however, I believe that the greatest aspect of this particular campus is the strong sense of community which one can experience here. Since I am an English and Journalism major, the opportunity to network with professors and university staff in these fields has been invaluable to me. I have gained priceless experience working as a student employee for the campus Library, Study Center, and Orientation Team, as well as getting to know professors and staff who are currently in the line of work I wish to eventually be in myself.
