All UW-Waukesha students must successfully complete MAT 108 or 110 in order to complete requirements for the Associate in Arts and Science degree.  The TRIO program supports TRIO students through LEA support courses at each level, plus one-to-one tutoring to assist each student.

Based on the results of the University Placement Test students will begin their first college level mathematics course in MAT 110, or MAT 105 or MAT 097. MAT 097 and MAT 105 will prepare students for entry into either MAT 108 or MAT 110.  Some students will take MAT 108, depending on their college major.  In addition, the TRIO program provides assistance to TRIO students in any math course the student may take while attending UW-Waukesha.
