TRIO Writing
All UW-Waukesha students must successfully complete ENG 102
in order to complete requirements for the Associate in Arts and
Science degree. The TRIO program supports TRIO students
through LEA support courses at each level, plus one-to-one
tutoring to assist each student. Based on the results of
the University Placement Test students will begin their first
college level English course in ENG 102, or one of two
alternate courses that are designed to increase student skills
in composition. In addition, the TRIO program provides
assistance to TRIO students in any course requiring a written
assignment by providing a TRIO Writing Specialist to review the
students' work prior to handing the work in for final grading.
